The COMBI series from SMETEC was designed to fit all state-of-the-art and future goals in combustion analysis for SI and CI engines. COMBI offers the entire spectrum for a fundamental engineering work.

The COMBI combustion analyzer indicates more than the pressure from the combustion chamber. The extremely powerful hard- and software delivers all important real time values on the screen during the engine run.

The powerful real-time unit integrated in COMBI allows the user to calculate all engine parameters cycle by cycle. Through this the combustion analyzer is a high-end pressure indication system.

With the state of the art Ethernet/Firewire interface it is possible to connect the system to an ordinary laptop. The engineer can use the board power supply without a voltage converter. The compact design and the low voltage power consumption of COMBI allowed it to use the system for vehicle investigation.

For more than 8 channels it is easy to combine additional COMBI systems to a bigger bundle.

COMBI is Microsoft Windows based software to communicate between the user, the in-cylinder pressure and engine components. It is designed for all level of users. It offers a quick start function for beginners where the user will be guided through the setup part as well as common and latest thermodynamic functions for experts.

COMBI software can be used for offline calculations at every PC without any additional license or bothering dongles.

COMBI software is a bundle for all indication systems from SMETEC. Users can customize the software by adding their own algorithms and formulas.
